11/11/2025  We’ve officially selected our families for Best Christmas Ever 2025! This year, our team will be blessing two incredible families, and we couldn’t be more dedicated to making their holiday truly special.

Between these two families, one parent is courageously battling a life-altering disease, and one young child is fighting brain cancer. Both are facing some of the most difficult days and years of their lives, and I feel deeply honored to help bring them a little joy, hope, and love this Christmas season.

Thank you so much for visiting our page and for your generosity. Your support means the world to us — and even more to these two amazing families.

First and foremost, thank you so much for your love and support. I truly couldn’t do this without the incredible encouragement from friends, family, community members, and even kind-hearted people I’ve never met. I feel so fortunate and grateful!

My family and I live in Woodbury, MN. My husband, Brendan, and I have two boys, Weston and Bennett. I first got involved with Best Christmas Ever in 2019 when I nominated a dear friend who had lost her husband — one of her sons happened to be one of Weston’s closest friends (and they’re still best friends today!).

In 2020, I decided to take the leap and lead my own team to bless families I didn’t personally know — and I’ve been a BCE Captain ever since. Now, in my sixth year, I continue to strive to make each holiday season more meaningful and impactful than the last.

This year, I am honored and thrilled to partner with Joe Dovenmuehle!  Joe and his family were a recipient l blessed last year in 2024.  Joe wants to be on the other side of BCE this year and be able to give the same blessing he received to another deserving family this year.  

The next few weeks are some of the busiest — and, for many, the hardest — times of the year. For some families, the holidays bring more challenges than cheer: financial strain, medical bills, hospital stays, or the loss of a loved one. The season isn’t always bright for everyone.
That’s why it means so much to be able to bring light and hope to families who are walking through some of their darkest days. It’s also deeply important to me as a mom — to show my boys the true meaning of giving, and that in giving, we truly receive. Ashley

My team is pleased to announce that we have partnered with a local non-profit organization called Best Christmas Ever (BCE)! BCE surprises families during the holiday season who have fallen on tough times through no fault of their own. Our team is looking forward to surprising a local family with a Best Christmas Ever this holiday season! We aim to raise at least $5,000 and collect ten donated gifts per family member! The families that receive the Best Christmas Ever are chosen from nominations submitted to BCE. Nominations are open and can be submitted at www.BCEmovement.org. Our team will have the opportunity to select a family in early November. After that, we will display a BCE gift tree at our local business sponsor. Community members can visit the sponsor location, grab a gift tag and purchase a present for the selected family! Monetary donations will go towards the family's life-changing gift. This gift can help reduce the burden a family carries during difficult times. The financial gift may be used to purchase a new/used vehicle, pay medical bills, go towards their rent/mortgage, pay credit cards, pay utility bills, travel, etc. BCE does not pay phone bills, cable bills, court-related incidents, or construction projects. Additionally, BCE does not pay cash directly to families. We cannot complete this BCE without the support of our community. Thanks in advance for your help!
