Meet the Kruegers!  Tragically they lost their Father/Husband Derek at the end of October.  Derek was more than just Dad, Husband and hockey coach - he was a mentor, a role model, and a friend to countless players, parents, and families. His passion for the game and his ability to inspire young athletes went far beyond the ice.  Those who knew him will remember his big heart, his endless patience, and his belief in every kid who laced up their skates. Whether it was celebrating a win or helping someone through a tough time, Derek led with compassion and strength.  He leaves behind his loving wife, Lisa, and their four beautiful children, who are now facing life without their husband and dad.  Christmas was Derek's favorite holiday and in conversations with Lisa (wife/mom), she doesn't know how they are going to get through it.  Please consider a donation which will go to purchase presents and experiences as well as help the financial burdens they are left with.

About Christmas for Healing

Our team is pleased to announce that we have partnered with a local non-profit organization called Best Christmas Ever (BCE)! BCE surprises families during the holiday season who have fallen on tough times through no fault of their own. Our team is looking forward to surprising a local family with a Best Christmas Ever this holiday season! We aim to raise at least $15,000 and collect as many donated gifts as possible! The families that receive the Best Christmas Ever are chosen from nominations submitted to BCE.  Monetary donations will go towards the family's life-changing gift. This gift can help reduce the burden a family carries during difficult times. The financial gift may be used to purchase a new/used vehicle, pay medical bills, go towards their rent/mortgage, pay credit cards, pay utility bills, travel, etc. Thanks in advance for your help!
