About Team UpNorth Social

Our team is thrilled to announce our partnership with Best Christmas Ever (BCE) to spread joy and hope to a local family in need this holiday season! BCE is a nonprofit organization that surprises families experiencing challenging times, offering them a holiday season filled with love, community support, and life-changing gifts.

The family we’ll be supporting has been carefully chosen from a nomination submitted to BCE. A BCE Gift Tree is up at UpNorth Social. Community members are encouraged to visit, pick up a gift tag, and purchase a present for the family. It’s a wonderful way to make a meaningful impact and bring joy to others! 

In addition to gift donations, we are raising funds for a life-changing financial gift to support the family’s critical needs. The goal is to raise at least $5,000 and gather ten donated gifts per family member to create a truly unforgettable experience. This monetary gift could go towards purchasing a reliable vehicle, paying medical bills, assisting with rent or mortgage payments, covering utility bills, or other significant expenses. Note that funds raised will not be used for phone or cable bills, court-related expenses, or construction projects, and cash will not be paid directly to the family.

  • Donate a Gift: Visit UpNorth Social, pick a gift tag from the BCE tree, and shop for a special gift and drop it back off at our location. 
  • Contribute Financially: Every dollar goes towards a life-changing gift for the family, helping alleviate their financial burdens. 
  • Spread the Word: Help us share this initiative with friends, family, and community members who may want to get involved!
